Dutch forensic experts are testing a piece of bone found in Aruba to determine whether it comes from missing US teenager Natalee Holloway.
A spokesman for the Netherlands Forensic Institute says the experts are first establishing whether the bone is human before comparing its DNA to that of Holloway.
The teenager who was 18 at the time of her disappearance, went missing in 2005 while on a high school graduation trip to the Caribbean.
Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, who’s facing separate murder charges in Peru, is suspected in her disappearance.
