Garvey Maceo, Rusea's face off

Garvey Maceo High, the 2007 champions, could become the first semi-finalist in the 2010 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel rural area daCosta Cup if they beat Rusea’s High in their second round Group Two quarterfinal game this afternoon.



The team will face off in a 1 p.m. match at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.



The Clarendon-based Garvey Maceo, became sole leaders of the group last Saturday when they started their quarter-final campaign with a 1-0 win against Old Harbour.



A victory today would move them to six points, which would be enough to give them one of the group’s two semi-final places.



In the group’s other game, the fancied Lennon will tackle Old Harbour at JAMALCO, beginning at 3 p.m.



Over in Group One, St James High will tackle Glenmuir at Jarrett Park at 1 p.m., while Marcus Garvey and St Elizabeth Technical High School will face off at Drax Hall in St Ann at 3 p.m.



All four teams in the group are on a point each.
