Toronto FC striker O’Brian White is set to make his debut in Jamaica’s senior national team when the Reggae Boyz face CONCACAF rivals Costa Rica in a friendly international football match at the Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale this evening.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m.

The 24-year-old White has already represented the Jamaica Under-15, Under-17 and Under-20 teams.

He is expected to start as the central striker in a three-man attacking unit.

It will be the second game between the countries in two months as Jamaica courtesy of a Ryan Johnson’s goal recorded a 1-0 home victory at the National Stadium in September.

Johnson, who represents Major League Soccer outfit San Jose Earthquakes, will miss today’s game after contesting Saturday’s semi-finals against Colorado Rapids, with Reggae Boy Omar Cummings.

The game is the final practice match for Jamaica ahead of their defence of the Digicel Caribbean Cup in Martinique slated for November 26 through December 5.
