Reggae Boyz eye Digicel Caribbean Cup title

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will attempt to clear another hurdle in their quest to retain the Digicel Caribbean Cup title when they face Grenada in the semi-final at the Pierre Aliker, Dillon Stadium in Martinique at 7:30 p.m. Jamaica time.



At 4:30, Cuba and Guadeloupe will face off in the first semi-final at the venue.



The Jamaica/Grenada showdown is a rematch of the 2008 title game and the Reggae Boyz won the match 2-1 at the National Stadium in Kingston, to lift their fourth title.



Jamaica are big favourites to win the tournament again after advancing out of the preliminary round undefeated.



All four semi-finalists have earned the right to play in the CONCACAF Gold Cup that will be staged in the United States next year.



Jamaica’s team for the game is Dwayne Miller in goal, Shavar Thomas, Adrian Reid, Jermaine Taylor, Shaun Francis, Lovell Palmer, Rudolph Austin, Richard Edwards, Luton Shelton, Dane Richards and Ryan Johnson.
