WIPA assigns image rights for players

The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) has been assigned the image and intellectual property rights for 75 of its members.



This was set out in a formal agreement between the players and WIPA.



The initiative has been welcomed by WIPA and its members, as the organisation seek to exploit and maximise the full commercial potential for the use of the players\' intellectual property and image rights.



Players\' image rights include their names, image, portrait, picture, photograph, voice and signature.
