Dominican Opposition wants PM to resign over dual citizenship

Dominica's Opposition Leader Hector John has called for Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to resign over the issue of his alleged dual citizenship.
John says Prime Minister Skerrit breached the country's constitution on nomination day ahead of the December 18 general election last year.
He is contending that Skerrit is ineligible to be a Member of Parliament because he was in possession of a French passport at the time.
The opposition says it now has evidence that the prime minister renounced his French citizenship earlier this year in February, proving that they were right all along that his election was flawed.
The matter is currently before the courts.
