The Opposition Leader in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Arnhim Eustace, says he doesn’t believe that the re-elected administration of Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves will last more than a year.
Dr Gonsalves won a one-seat majority in Monday's general election.
Speaking at a rally of his New Democratic Party, Eustace said he was confident that sustained pressure from his party will force an early poll.
He said he expected the party to build on its performance in the last parliament despite having just three of the 15 MPs.
Eustace has also predicted that the government will be forced to go the International Monetary Fund for financial help.
