Sporting fail to show for rescheduled game

Sporting Central Academy miss the opportunity to go into the Christmas break as leaders of the Premier League Clubs Association National Under-21 football league after the team did not turn up for its rescheduled game against St George’s.



The game was scheduled for Lynch Park in Portland.



As a result of Sporting Central Academy’s no-show, St Georges were awarded victory by a 3-0 score line to move seventh place on 18 points.



Sporting Central Academy remain in third place on 27 points, two behind Portmore United on 29. Harbour View are also on 27 points but second in the table courtesy of goal difference.



Meanwhile, Tivoli Gardens defeated second-from-the-bottom Boys’ Town 1-0 in their rescheduled game at Edward Seaga Complex to stay fourth but moved to 25 points.
