Election code to be signed

The Keith Mitchell administration in Grenada said it is ready to sign a campaign code of conduct ahead of the July 8 elections in that country.

The New National Party (NNP) had previously refused to adopt the document, claiming that its drafters, a coalition of civic groups, were opponents of the government.

It is not clear whether the code will be signed in its original form as Dr. Mitchell had proposed amendments.
