Jamaica go in search for second victory

Reigning champions Guyana, batting after winning the toss, were 100 for 7 after 18 overs in the fifth match of the Caribbean 20/20 championship against English side Somerset.



The match is being played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.



Captain Ramnaresh Sarwan is unbeaten on 54



Alfonso Thomas was the most successful bowler for Somerset with two for 11 from three overs, while there was a wicket each for Gemaal Hussain, Steve Kirby, Calum Haggett and George Dockrell.



Meanwhile, Jamaica will go in search of another victory when they face Combined Campuses and College in the second game, starting at 7 p.m. Jamaica time.



The Jamaicans got their campaign off to a good start on Monday night by whipping Guyana by 50 runs.



On that same night, Combined Campuses and College suffered defeat to Windward Islands and need a victory to stay in the hunt.
