Jamaica suffered a setback in their quest to win their first 20/20 title by going down by seven wickets to Combined Campuses and College in the sixth match of the Caribbean 20/20 Championship last night.

The game was played at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua.

Set 139 for victory, Combined Campuses and College reached the target with six deliveries remaining.

Wesley Perkins top scored for Combined Campuses and Colleges with 38. Krishmar Santokie ended as the best bowler for Jamaica with two for 16 off his four overs, while Nikita Miller had one for 24.

Earlier, Jamaica choosing to bat reached 138 for four from their allotted 20 overs with Marlon Samuels top scoring with an undefeated 80 from 54 balls.

As a result of the victory, Combined Campuses and College have joined Jamaica, reigning champions Guyana and Windward Islands on four points each in the standings. However, Windward Islands have only played one game, while the others have played two matches.

In the opening match last night, defending champions Guyana registered a come-from-behind one-run victory over English side Somerset.

The competition continues today with another two matches. The games are Hampshire Royals against Barbados at 4:00 p.m. and Leeward Islands playing Trinidad and Tobago at 8:00 p.m.
