The forum is expected to provide an oppor

tunity for representatives of the European Commission and other stakeholders to discuss and share experiences on sugar sector matters at a technical level.

The summit will focus on the Accompanying Measures for Sugar Protocol (AMSP) countries, which is an EU-funded programme of support covering the period 2006 to 2013.

The European Union delegation to Jamaica said the overall aim of the seminar is to inform future programme implementation following a review by participants.
