Jamaican Taylor jumps to second in ICC rankings

Jamaica and West Indies teenaged batting star Stafanie Taylor has moved to number two in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s batting rankings, released yesterday.
Following her prolific scoring in the recent one-day series against India, which brought her 220 runs, Taylor jumped two places to be second behind Indian stroke-maker Mithali Raj.
The 19-year-old also claimed nine wickets with her off-spin to jump six places to number 10 in the bowlers’ rankings.
She is the only West Indies player listed in the top 10 of both batting and bowling rankings.
