A new opinion poll published yesterday has shown that almost 60 per cent of Bermudians approve how Paula Cox is handling her job as Premier.
However, almost 70 per cent of Bermudians are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the island, with 63.8 per cent saying the economy is moving in the wrong direction.
According to the poll conducted by the independent firm, Research Innovations, Cox got an overall 57.6 per cent approval rating.
Only 8.3 per cent of people disapprove of how Cox, who took over as Premier from Ewart Brown in October, is handling the job and 34.1 per cent are not sure.
Just over 400 residents were interviewed in the survey conducted between January 12 and 19.
