Young Reggae Boyz arrive home
Jamaica’s National Under-17 football team returned from Brazil yesterday following a six-week training stint to prepare for the CONCACAF championships to be held in Western Jamaica next month.
The Young Reggae Boyz will now travel to Montego Bay for a training session before playing the USA in two friendly games on Thursday and Sunday at Jarrett Park.
Both teams will use the games to intensify their preparations for the CONCACAF Under-17 championship from February 14 to 27.
Twelve nations will contest the CONCACAF tournament and the top four teams will qualify for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup to be staged in Mexico this June.
Jamaica play their first game in the tournament on February 15 against Trinidad and Tobago at the Montego Bay Sports Complex, Catherine Hall.
