Mico, GC Foster Strikers qualify for Fast Net

Mico ‘A’ and GC Foster Strikers ‘A’ have secured the final two spots in the Jamaica Netball Association’s Fast Net tournament, which will take place this weekend at the Leila Robinson Courts.



The teams advanced following the last set of qualifiers last night at the Leila Robinson Courts. The Jamaica National Open League was used as the qualifying tournament.



They will join JAMALCO, Tivoli ‘A’, Windalco and Waulgrovians ‘A’ in the Fast Net tournament.



GC Foster Strikers and Mico ‘A’ each secured two victories last night.



GC Foster Strikers easily beat Jetsetters ‘A’ 21-9 before beating Tivoli ‘B’ 17-14 in a close encounter.



Mico ‘A’ turned back Blades United ‘B’ 28-12 and then went on to score an overtime 34-32 victory over UWI Revolution ‘A’.



In other games last night, Tivoli ‘B’ outclassed Police ‘A’ 36-14 and UWI Revolution ‘A’ got by Arnett Gardens 19-14.
