Jamaica takes first innings points

Kennar Lewis, smashed 106 and John Ross-Campbell, hit an unbeaten 100, as Jamaica took first innings points in a drawn encounter against Trinidad and Tobago in their first round TCL Group Under-19 match yesterday.



The game was played at the Banks Brewery Ground in Bridgetown, Barbados.



Resuming yesterday’s final day on 189 for six, T&T, were dismissed for 232 in replay to Jamaica’s first innings score of 328 for nine declared.



Left-arm spinner Patrick Harty was the most successful Jamaican bowler with five for 61 from 31 point 3 overs.



The Jamaicans, with a handsome first innings lead of 96, reached 256 for five in their second innings before play was called off.



In T&T innings, left-handed opening batsman Evin Lewis was stranded on 140.



Guyana beat the Leeward Islands by five wickets shortly after tea at Kensington Oval.



Final scores are Leewards 172 and 139, Guyana 178 and 134 for five.



Barbados beat the Windward Islands by seven wickets before tea.



Windwards 105 and 198, Barbados 239 and 65 for three.
