Vibrant campaign for Haiti's election

Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Tillman Thomas, says the region was looking forward to a vibrant campaign for the second round of presidential elections in Haiti scheduled for March 20.
In a statement Thomas, who is also the Prime Minister of Grenada, said the 15 member regional bloc also commended all those who participated in the November 28 elections.
He says they should be applauded for their commitment to the strengthening and continuation of democratic principles in Haiti.
Prime Minister Thomas further added that CARICOM looks forward to a vibrant campaign in the ensuing weeks leading to the polls.
