St. Lucian party accused of neglect

The daughter of the late former St Lucian prime minister, Sir John Compton has accused the party of neglecting the principles and philosophies for which it once stood.



While not naming anyone, Janine Compton-Antoine told a news conference that the laws of the country were also being ignored.



She accused ministers of doing what they pleased in their constituencies without consultation.



According to her Central Government has not been showing any respect for the people who give their time to be councillors.
