Lerone Clarke wins in Germany

Jamaica’s Commonwealth Games 100-metre champion Lerone Clarke set a new personal-best best of 6.52 seconds to win the men’s 60-metre at an IAAF Permit Meeting in Karlshrue, Germany yesterday.
Clarke finished ahead of Trinidadian Marc Burns, who also achieved a personal-best. Burns clocked 6.56.
Emanuele Di Gregorio of Italy was third in 6.63 and Kim Collins of St Kitts and Nevis finished fourth in 6.64.
