T&T to stage cricket tournament

The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) will stage a regional Under-17 cricket tournament in December of this year.



Chief Executive Officer of the TTCB, Forbes Persaud, said the board would host the series at its own expense because there is a need for a regional championship at the Under-17 level.



Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands and Windward Islands have been invited to play in the tournament.



Persaud also said that the TTCB is also looking at an Under 23 tournament.
