The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Douglas, says he’s happy that more residents are providing information in criminal cases to the police.
Reluctance and fear among witnesses have been cited as a barrier to fighting one of the Caribbean's highest murder rates.
However, speaking at a news conference yesterday, Dr Douglas said residents' information has been yielding significant results.
According to him, a supermarket robbery was foiled on Tuesday because of citizen intervention.
