West Indies to select new panel

Former Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies player Bryan Davis and Raphick Jumadeen are among nine nominations for positions on the West Indies selection panel.

Jumadeen is a former left-arm spinner for West Indies and currently on the T&T selection panel, while Davis, an ex-West Indies opener, served previously as a T&T selector.

It is understood that West Indies batting legend and former captain Sir Vivian Richards is also among the nominees.

A new panel is to be appointed this weekend, to replace the outgoing team of Gordon Greenidge, chairman, Andy Roberts and Clyde Butts.
