Jamaican Stewart signs two-year USL deal

Orlando City, which plays in the United Soccer League, have signed Jamaican international Demar Stewart for two years.
Owner and president of Orlando City Phil Rawlins says the club is delighted to have a player of Demar’s quality.
The defender has played 10 times for Jamaica.
He played for Portmore United, which won the National Premier League title in the 2004-2005 season.
Two years later, Stewart was signed by England’s Sheffield United, but was loaned out to Belgian side White Star Woluwé FC.
The following year, he became the first Jamaican to play in the Chinese Super League, China’s top league, when he was loaned to Chengdu Blades for the 2008-2009 season.
