Harbour View defeat Village United

Defending champions Harbour View scored a 2-0 victory over Village United in their rescheduled game yesterday at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny to climb to second place in the Digicel Premier League standings.
The ‘Stars of the East’ have now moved to 48 points, four behind leaders Tivoli Gardens. Boys’ Town are also on 48 points, but third in the standings.
Lennox Creary, 39th minute, and Jahmalie Spence, 71st minute, scored for Harbour View.
In the other rescheduled game, Reno recorded a 1-0 away victory over Benfica at Drax Hall in St Ann. Craig Foster scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute.
