Hunt for more medals continue

Jamaicans Nikita Tracey, Jura Levy and Nickel Ashmeade will try to improve on the country’s medal tally on today’s fourth day of the 12th IAAF World Junior Championship in Poland.



All three athletes have qualified for the medal round in their events.



Tracey will get the first opportunity to add to the 100-metre gold won by Dexter Lee.



The Edwin Allen sixth former will run in the 400-metre hurdles final after finishing third in Heat Three of the semi-final.



Jury Levy will contest the women’s 200-metre final after a second place in the first semi-final. Levy clocked 23.92.



Ashmeade, a world youth triple medallist, will line up in the men’s 200 metres. He clocked 20.83 seconds to win his semi-final but will start today’s final as the second fastest behind American Curtis Miller.
