Foster Hylton to open season at UWI Invitational

World Championships 100-metre hurdles champion, Brigitte Foster-Hylton, will today make a return to competitive racing in over a year, when she competes in the women’s development 400-metre at the University of the West Indies, UWI, Invitational meet.



The meet will take place at the Usain Bolt track located at the UWI and is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.



Foster-Hylton, who is coming off an injury, is one of several high profile athletes from MVP and Racers Track Club, who will be in action at the meet.



Foster-Hylton, who will take the track at 3:35 p.m. and will run against training partners Sherone Simpson and World and Olympic 100 metres champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser as well as four members of rival club Racers.



The day will also feature the Milo Western Championships, which will take place at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in Catherine Hall.
