Member nations of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) are being urged to press on with efforts to help lessen the time and cost taken to move goods within the regional grouping.
OECS officials responsible for trade say they continue to be concerned about the apparent slow pace at which this is being done.
Making inter-island trade easier is one of the key elements of OECS Economic Union which came into effect in January.
Alicia Stephen of the OECS Trade Policy Unit says any measures that lengthen the time it takes to move goods across borders increases the coast of doing business and would erode our competitiveness.
