Jamaica’s CARIFTA Games Swimming team will continue its preparation for the April 23 to 27 Championships in Barbados this afternoon with a practice session at the National Stadium.

The session, to be conducted by national coaches Nathan Brown and Syreeta Biggs, is scheduled to start at 3.50 p.m. and ends at 5.45 p.m.

Jamaica’s 34-member squad is being led by senior swimmers Kendese Nangle and Alexia Royal-Eatmon.

They will compete in the 15 to 17 age group, which also includes experienced campaigners Victoria Ho, Octivia Gray, Brittany Kenny, Breanna Roman, Jason-Craig Burnett, Matthew Chen, Prince Easton, Mario Hyman, Shaun James and Steven Moodie.

Jamaica will be hoping to improve on their seventh place finish at last year’s championships where they won 22 medals.
