Jamaican wins 100 metre hurdles

Two-time World Championship medallist Delloreen Ennis-London was the only Jamaican winner at the 24th Vardinoyiannia track and field meeting in Greece yesterday.
Ennis-London won the women’s 100-metre hurdles in 12.62 over American Nichole Denby in 12.88.
Chris Williams, 20.84, was third in Heat Two of the men’s 200 metres, behind American winner LaShawn Merritt in 20.26.
And in the men’s 100 metres, Williams finished fourth in 10.30. Trinidadian Marc Burns won the race in 10.03
There was another fourth place finish for Jamaica. Sanjay Ayre finished fourth in 46.01 in the men’s 400-metres hurdles. American Angello Taylor won in 45.02.
