Grenada\'s new Foreign Affairs Minister, Peter David, said there are no plans to switch diplomatic relations from China to Taiwan.

Mr. David said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration of Prime Minister Tillman Thomas would continue to recognise the One China Policy.

He said the government would be looking at strengthening the existing relationship between St. Georges and Beijing.

Grenada switched from Taiwan to China under the previous Keith Mitchell administration.
