Three-time defending champions Jamaica are 226 for five in their second innings at the lunch interval on today’s final day of their top-of-the-table sixth round clash of the Regional first class championship against Trinidad and Tobago at Sabina Park.
Jamaica, who are leading by 77 on first innings points, are now 303 runs ahead and are expected to declare their innings after the interval.
Captain Tamar Lambert is undefeated on 61 and Chadwick Walton is 19 not out.
Scores in the game so far are Jamaica 356 and 226 for five, T&T 279.
At the 3Ws Oval in Barbados, Guyana, chasing 200 for victory against Combined Campuses and Colleges, reached 121 for four in their second innings at the interval.
Scores in that game so far are Combined Campuses and Colleges 251 and 155, Guyana 207 and 121 for four.
Meanwhile, the other two sixth round games ended yesterday.
At Windsor Park in Dominica, Danny Briggs and Adil Rashid led England Lions to a comprehensive 258-run victory over Windward Islands on the final day of their match.
At the Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua, Barbados completed a six-wicket victory over Leeward Islands on the third day of their contest.
