Former president of the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce, Nigel John, is calling for improved standards and productivity levels, in order for CARICOM to benefit from the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with Europe.

John is also advocating for the registration of professionals in Grenada, in order to meet one of the criteria of the EPA.

The EPA was signed between Cariforum countries and the EU in 2008.
