Jamaica, T&T square off in cricket

Three-time defending champions Jamaica, sent in to bat by Trinidad and Tobago, reached 54 for one, by early this afternoon, on today’s opening day of their rain-hit Regional First Class Championship semi-final, at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground in Trinidad.
The batsman dismissed was Simon Jackson for one. He was caught at third slip by Sherwin Ganga off the bowling of West Indies bowler Ravi Rampaul for one.
The batsmen at the crease are Danza Hyatt on 40 and Marlon Samuels on 10.
In the day’s other semi-final, Combined Campuses and Colleges reached 110 for three by early this afternoon, against Windward Islands at 3Ws Oval in Barbados.
