Manchester United now 10 points clear

Leaders Manchester United went 10 points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League as they enjoyed a straightforward 2-nil win at home to Fulham today.



With second-placed Arsenal not in action until tomorrow - albeit with two games in hand now - United were comfortable as Dimitar Berbatov and Antonio Valencia put them two goals up by the break.



Florent Malouda ensured Chelsea did not lose further ground as they beat Wigan 1-nil at Stamford Bridge to remain 11 points off United.



Peter Crouch scored twice on his return to action following his controversial red card against Real Madrid on Tuesday as Tottenham overcame Stoke 3-2 at White Hart Lane.



In the relegation tussle at the other end of the table, third-bottom West Ham were destroyed 3-nil at Bolton.



Liam Ridgewell's mistake helped Blackburn take a 1-all draw in their crunch clash at home to Birmingham as both sides moved three points clear of the bottom three.
