Jamaica in total control

Three-time defending champions Jamaica have put themselves in a commanding position to win a historic fourth straight title in the West Indies Cricket Board First-Class championship.
The Jamaicans, responding to Combined Campuses and Colleges’ first innings total of 112, made 225 on the stroke of lunch on today’s second day of the four-day final at the 3Ws Oval in Barbados.
It means that Jamaica, who had resumed this morning on 106 for three, have taken the crucial first innings honours and now lead by 113 runs.
Skipper Tamar Lambert top scored for Jamaica with 41 from 101 balls after resuming this morning on four.
Danza Hyatt 32, Simon Jackson 28, Andre Russell 26, Wavell Hinds 23 and Marlon Samuels 23 all got into double figures but fail to carry on.
Ryan Austin, four for 81 and Kavesh Kantasingh, four for 89, were the top wicket takers for Combined Campuses and Colleges.
