West Indies collapse on 2nd day

West Indies Vice-captain Brendan Nash and Carlton Baugh fell cheaply after tea as West Indies continued to collapse on the second day of the second Test at Warner Park in St. Kitts today.
Both batsmen made six and fell within 17 balls of each other, leaving the Windies on 107 for six, 20 minutes after tea.
Resuming at 94 for four in pursuit of Pakistan’s 272 all out, they lost Nash caught at slip off off-spinner Mohammed Hafeez and Baugh followed soon after, lbw sweeping at left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman.
West Indies had resumed at 94 for four after Darren Bravo fell on the stroke of the tea interval for a top score of 24.
He laboured 87 balls and over one-and-a-half hours for a top score of 24 before edging one that bounced and turned to Asad Shafiq at second slip off off-spinner Mohammed Hafeez, to signal the end of a difficult post lunch session for the hosts.
His dismissal broke a promising 40-run, fourth wicket partnership with Marlon Samuels who was unbeaten on 21 at tea he eventually made it to 57.
At the close of play the West indies reached 184 for eight still trailing Pakistan by 88 runs.
Roach and Rampaul will resume tomorrow on 10 and 15 runs respectfully.
