West Indies lose one-off T20

West Indies suffered a 16-run defeat to India in the one-off Twenty/Twenty International at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad today.
Set a victory target of 160, West Indies were restricted to 143 for five with Darren Bravo topscoring with 41. Chris Barnwell supported with an undefeated 34, while Marlon Samuels scored 27.
Earlier, India sent in to bat scored 159 for six off their allotted 20 overs against the bowling of Darren Sammy four for 16.
Subramaniam Badrinath top scored for India with 43.
The teams will now turn their attentions to the first two One Day Internationals in Trinidad next week. The opening match will take place on Monday in Port of Spain.
