National teams depart next week

Jamaica’s national Under-17 boys’ team and Under-15 girls’ teams are scheduled to depart the island next week for assignments in Trinidad and Tobago.



The Under-17 boys, under the guidance of coach Chris Dawes and assistant technical director Walter Gama, will depart on Tuesday, July 29 to compete in the CONCACAF Championships.



The Young Reggae Boyz, drawn in Group ‘E’ will play their first match on Thursday, July 31.



The Under-15 girls, conditioned by Oneil Thomas and Luciano Gama, will depart on Wednesday, July 30 to compete in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers. Their opening game will be on Friday, August 1.



Both teams are currently in camp at separate venues.
