Usain Bolt to headline Bislett Games in Norway

World 100 and 200-metre record holder Usain Bolt will headline the Mobil Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway today when he runs his first 200-metre race for this year.
The Bislett Games is one of the 14 Samsung Diamond League meets for this year.
Bolt won the 100 metres at his first race of the year in a Diamond League event in Rome two weeks ago. He is now aiming to take his recovery up another notch after missing part of last season with Achilles tendon and back problems.
The 200-metre field also includes Bolt’s Jamaican teammate Mario Forsythe. The race is scheduled to start at 2.47 p.m. Jamaica time.
Vonette Dixon will be the first Jamaican in action. She is scheduled to compete in the heats of the women’s 100-metre hurdles at 11.45 a.m. The final is set to start at 1.35 p.m.
Other Jamaicans competing at the meet this afternoon are Nickiesha Wilson in the women’s 400-metre hurdles at 1.05, Novlene Williams-Mills in the women’s 400-metre at 1.12 and Dwight Thomas, who competes in the men’s 110-hurdles at 1.55.
