St Jago lifts Under 14 title

St Jago High won the urban area Grace Jackie Hendriks Under-14 cricket title yesterday with a five-wicket win over neighbours Eltham High at Melbourne Oval.
Led by a six-wicket haul from Mark Blake, St Jago dismissed Eltham for 39 and then recovered from 14 for four to reach the victory target. They ended on 40 for five.
Ryan Harris top scored for St Jago with an undefeated 13, while Marco Granston scored 12.
Granston had earlier supported Blake with three wickets for eight runs.
St Jago will now face either Munro College or St Elizabeth Technical for the all-island title next Thursday.
