Young Reggae Boyz kick off
Jamaica’s Young Reggae Boyz will kick of their Group ‘E’ campaign in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Youth Cup this afternoon against Antigua and Barbuda at Fatima College Ground in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
The match is the second game of a double-header. Dominican Republic and Netherlands Antilles will face off in the opening game.
The CFU Youth Cup, which will double as the Caribbean Qualification to the 2009 CONCACAF Under-17 Championships, will have six groups playing in five venues in Trinidad and Tobago.
The six group winners along with the two best second-place finishers will progress to the quarterfinals on August 6. The semi-finals will take place on August 8 and the final on August 10.
The winner and runner-up from the CFU Youth Cup will progress to the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship that will take place in Mexico next year.
