Jamaican boxers set for Pan American games

Two Jamaican boxers, light heavyweight Jovan Young and middleweight Reece Shagourie have qualified for the Pan American Games.



The Pan American Games will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico, in October.



The Jamaican boxers, who are based in London, booked their tickets for the Pan American Games at the third and final qualifiers, which was held in Panama from July 1 to 8.



Young secured the silver medal in his weight class and Shagourie picked up the bronze medal.
