McCook returned as NACAC president

Jamaica’s Neville ‘Teddy’ McCook has been returned as president of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association, (NACAC).



McCook easily defeated Keith Joseph of St Vincent and the Grenadines 25 to 6 at the NACAC congress in Puerto Rico yesterday. He will now serve his second four-year term in office.



McCook won his first term in 2007 by beating Joseph by a single vote.



As a result of the victory, McCook has been retained as the area representative for the International Association of Athletics Federations.
