Jamaica on course to win WI U-15 title

Jamaica are on course to retain the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Under-15 Championship in Trinidad today.
The Jamaicans put themselves in a good position after taking first innings points from Barbados on yesterday’s first day of their final round match at Omera.
Batting first, Barbados were dismissed for 84 against the bowling of Hakeem Wright, who took 5-21.
But Jamaica only achieved a slim first-innings lead after being dismissed for 86 in 31.5 overs. Left-arm spinner Chad Williams ended with impressive figures of 8-18.
Barbados will resume their second innings this morning on 57-6.
Over at the National Cricket Centre, second place Guyana will resume this morning on 91-2 against Windward Islands.
Tagnarine Chanderpaul, the son of West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, is unbeaten on 33.
Tagnarine scored 51 not out to help Guyana to first innings points over Windward Islands. Shimron Hetmyer top scored for Guyana with 62.
Scores in that match so far:- Guyana 159-2 off 30 overs and 91-2; Windward Islands 147-8 off 30 overs.
Over at Honeymoon Park, defending champions Trinidad and Tobago have already won first innings points from Leeward Islands. Scores in that match so far: Leeward Islands 147-7 off 30 overs and 120-7; T&T 154-4 from 30 overs.
