Jamaica's loss at the Yonex US Open Grand Prix

Jamaica’s top badminton players, Charles Pyne and Gareth Henry, lost their first
round singles matches at the 2011 Yonex US Open Grand Prix yesterday.
Pyne was beaten by Gurusai Datt of India 21-7, 21-17; while Henry lost to
Brazilian Daniel Paiola by a similar margin.
Pyne and Henry teamed up for a doubles qualifiers but went down 24-22, 21-16 to
the Canadian pair of Phillipe Charon and Phillipe Gaumond.
The Jamaicans will now travel to the Canadian Open Grand Prix, which serves off
tomorrow.
