Andy Schleck secures stage 18 win

Andy Schleck closed to within 15 seconds of the yellow jersey with an audacious breakaway victory over the Col du Galibier in the Tour de France today.
Schleck was only denied the overall lead by a burst from Thomas Voeckler which closed the gap late on.
Leopard-Trek rider Schleck, runner-up in last year's race, surged clear with 60 kilometres left in the 18th stage.
His lead grew to more than four minutes and he took the stage with a determined ride up the final ascent.
