20 injured in 2 separate Seattle shootings
SEATTLE (AP) — A 42-year-old man accused of shooting his estranged wife and others at a crowded nightclub south of Seattle is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing.
A spokesman for the prosecutor's office in King County, Wash., identified him as Cesar Chaparro-Vielma. He was booked into King County Jail Sunday on four counts of investigation of attempted murder. The bail hearing is set for Monday afternoon.
Police say he walked into a casino nightclub and shot his wife, her male dancing companion, her two sisters and others. Seven people were wounded in the early Sunday shooting.
On Saturday, 13 people were injured when a fight erupted into gunfire at a lowrider car show in nearby Kent. Police said Monday no arrests have been made in that case.
