Regional Under 19 Round Up

The top-of-the-table third round Regional Under-19 Cricket Championship match between Jamaica and Barbados at Enmore in Guyana is interestingly poised going into today’s final day.



Barbados, with a slim first innings lead of six runs, will resume this morning on five without loss.



During yesterday’s second day, Jamaica replying to Barbados’ first innings total of 177 were dismissed for 171 after resuming on one without loss.



Captain Kraigg Brathwaite was the chief destroyer with four for 33, while Chaim Holder supported with three for 43 and Justin Greaves had two for 29.



John Campbell 29, Donovan Nelson 28 and Ragni Francis 27 scored most runs for Jamaica.



Over at Bourda Oval, defending champions Windward Islands, replying to Leeward Islands’ 242, will resume on 340 for eight with Kavem Hodge undefeated on 155. Nino Henry has so far taken five for 46.



Over at Everest, hosts Guyana set 153 to win by Trinidad and Tobago, will resume on six without loss.



Scores in that game so far:- T&T 191 and 64; Guyana 103 and 6 without loss.
