CXC questions SBAs

The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) is expressing concern about the authenticity of School Based Assessments (SBAs) it has been receiving.
CXC officials are reportedly questioning whether all SBAs submitted to the council were actually written by candidates.
The registrar of the Barbados-based CXC, Dr. Didacus Jules, said although the practice is not widespread, it is a problem.
The CXC Registrar said following a review, new components of a tighter SBA system will be introduced.
